Boom Truck Rental — 5 t, 10 t and 15 t
A boom truck does the job that would otherwise need a flatbed and a crane: it carries the load to the point of work and lifts it off itself. On a pipeline spread and in plant it handles valves, fittings, skids, spools, test equipment and everything else that is too heavy to lift by hand and too small to justify a mobile crane. GulfFast holds 5 t, 10 t and 15 t boom trucks in its own fleet.

One vehicle instead of two mobilisations
The alternative to a boom truck is a flatbed to bring the item and a crane to lift it, which means two mobilisations, two rates, and the coordination problem of getting both to the same place at the same time. For loads inside its capacity the boom truck removes all of that. The point at which a mobile crane becomes the right answer is set by weight and radius, not by the look of the lift, so if you are unsure, send us the weight and the reach.
Choosing between 5 t, 10 t and 15 t
Capacity ratings are quoted at minimum radius and fall away sharply as the boom extends, which is the single most common source of a boom truck arriving on site and not being able to make the lift. A 15 t machine is not a 15 t machine at full reach. Tell us the heaviest item and the distance from the truck to where it has to land, and we will size it against the load chart rather than the headline number.
In plant, in the yard, and on the right of way
Boom trucks are the most continuously used item on most sites because they are useful at every stage: unloading deliveries, positioning valves and fittings, moving test equipment, handling skids and generators, and recovering equipment. On a pipeline spread they usually earn their keep before the first joint is welded and after the last one is tested.
